A new classified Ukrainian strike drone has successfully passed a number of tests.

Nataliya Sad, spokeswoman of the Ukroboronprom State Enterprise, announced this at a briefing.

Recently, the drone has successfully completed tests in conditions of the EW countermeasures.

“A string of successful trials was accomplished. We moved on to tests under the influence of EW, and these tests are also behind us,” said Nataliya Sad.

The tests were conducted according to the order of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is stated that this drone is able to hit targets at a distance of 1,000 kilometers and carry a payload of up to 75 kg.

“The unmanned vehicle has reached a stage where, unfortunately, we cannot say anything about it,” the Ukroboronprom spokeswoman said.

Manager of Ukroboronprom Oleh Boldyrev said that this aircraft is heavy with a takeoff weight of more than 200 kg.

The new development corresponds to the tasks Valerii Zaluzhnyi instructed manufacturers in early August. The drone will have a return function, so it will be able to attack targets several times.

Before the tests began, the words from the Bible were put on the drone: “Az vozdam” (I shall repay – ed.). According to representatives of the Ukroboronprom Group of Companies, this is not a name, but a “mission.”

It should be recalled that the Ministry of Defense in 2023 plans to spend 20 billion UAH on the purchase of drones of various types of use.

According to Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov, this list of unmanned vehicles contains samples of the Ukrainian defense industry, and this classified device was likely included in the list as well.
