The armored personnel carrier is controlled by a crew of three people, while the landing compartment in the rear part of the vehicle is designed for eight soldiers. Paratroopers exit the armored personnel carrier through the aft door or upper hatches. Armor of the armored personnel carrier protects against 14.5 mm caliber bullets from the front and 7.62 caliber bullets from the sides. The vehicle develops a speed of 100 km/h and can overcome water obstacles at a speed of up to 10 km/h.

On the basis of the Rosomak armored personnel carrier, several variants of various purposes have been developed, which are in service with the Polish army.

Previously, 29 Rosomak WEM wheeled armored personnel carriers were ordered for the Armed Forces of Poland. They are designed to evacuate the wounded from the battlefield, provide first aid, including dressing wounds and injuries, and support the basic vital functions of a person. These vehicles will be delivered in 2024-2026.
