22nd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine receives mortars and trucks from the Come Back Alive Foundation
Soldiers of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received mortars and trucks.
The Come Back Alive Foundation transferred the weapons and equipment thanks to a contribution from the Ukrenergo electricity transmission system operator.
This time, the defenders received eight 120 mm mortars and four IVECO trucks.
For this purpose, Ukrenergo allocated almost UAH 12 million.
The Come Back Alive Foundation shared that it has already transferred over 300 such mortars to the Ukrainian Defense Forces since the beginning of 2022.

The Foundation thanked Ukrenergo for its regular and generous contributions to the defense of Ukraine in the amount of over UAH 210 million in 2024.

For its part, the energy company noted that since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, it has already provided more than UAH 570 million in aid to the Ukrainian army.
Of this amount, more than UAH 165 million was spent to help the 22nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, recently, Ukrenergo, in cooperation with the Come Back Alive Foundation, transferred 1155 FPV drones and initiation fees to the soldiers of this brigade.

Today, FPV drones are an important type of weapon on the battlefield. They enable Ukrainian defenders to carry out precision strikes against the enemy from a distance.
Drones, in particular, are effectively used to stop enemy offensives, destroying enemy armored personnel carriers and tanks before they even approach military positions.

In January, Militarnyi reported that soldiers of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade drove DPRK servicemen who fought on the side of Russia out of the village of Mykolayivka in the Kursk region.
