Soldiers of the 3rd Assault Brigade destroyed a Russian Tor surface-to-air missile system and a TOS-1A Solntsepyok flamethrower system.

The brigade’s press service reported on this.

The defeat of Russian equipment took place in the Kharkiv region, where the brigade’s fighters discovered a Russian Tor-M2 missile system and a TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system.

The Tor-M2 was hit by an FPV drone when the system was searching for air targets.

The military also managed to capture a Russian TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system, which was shelling the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

The system was hit by an FPV drone as it was leaving its firing position.

It should be noted that the destruction of this type of military equipment significantly reduces the capabilities of Russian troops on the front line.

The production of the Tor and TOS-1A Solntsepyok systems is slow, which is why the prompt destruction of these systems could worsen the situation of Russian troops on the front line.

Additionally, the Ukrainian Defense Forces, using their advantage in the number of FPV drones and available reconnaissance assets, can conduct a constant search for Russian systems.

The Russian Uragan multiple launch rocket system on a BAZ truck chassis was destroyed by the joint efforts of the soldiers of the Alpha Group and drone pilots of the Attack Drone Group “Flight Club 92” of the 92nd Assault Brigade.

The destruction took place on June 16, 2024, in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, from where the system was firing at the positions of Ukrainian defenders.

It should be noted that the destroyed MLRS is a rather rare system, as it is one of few new systems that is mounted on the chassis of the BAZ-69092 truck.
