A sniper from Canada, who came to Ukraine to fight the Russian occupiers, showed his weapons and spoke about his motivation.

The Militarnyi reported about it with reference to journalist Ashleigh Stewart, who spoke with the sniper.

Wali reported that he is alive and unharmed.

A 40-year-old soldier from Quebec, who asked not to give his real name, left Canada in early March.

He joined the Ukrainian forces at the forefront. He said that the Russians had been firing at him for three days, but he returned from his first mission near Kiev safe and unharmed.

“I have a lot of responsibilities, I would say, to my family, to my community and to humanity. And it’s a human part of my duty. It doesn’t matter to me whether it was Afghanistan, Kurdistan or Ukraine, if people need help, because I can provide this help, I go to help them,” says the sniper Wali about his mission in Ukraine.
