The governments of the Netherlands, Estonia and Norway agreed to transfer to Ukraine an additional Role II-type mobile hospital.

This is stated in the press release of the Government of Norway.

The mobile hospital itself will be provided by the Estonian side.

In their turn, Norway and the Netherlands will contribute funds to ensure that the field hospital will be at the disposal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The three countries cooperation will also include the purchase of container ships and trailers, sanitary, warehouse and living modules.

It also includes purchase of the medical supplies for the modernization of the Role II-type mobile hospital, which will be donated to Ukraine.

Ukrainian medics will be trained by Ukrainian and Estonian specialists with the support of the Netherlands.

The package equals to 7.8 million euros, of which 4.3 million euros will be contributed by Norway and 3.5 million euros by the Netherlands.

“Ukraine should win this war, and Russia should lose. Ukraine can win this war with our collective support,” the Estonian defense minister said.

The parties noted at the meeting that constant international military support is crucial, especially now, in winter, when Russia continues its attacks on civilian infrastructure.

“I am satisfied that Norway is contributing to the third hospital from Estonia. It is important that Western countries unite in sending urgently needed facilities and equipment to Ukraine,” the Norwegian Minister of Defense stated.

Usually this type of hospital includes: tents, containers or, as a rule, both; an outpatient department; several wards, including isolation wards and intensive care units; operating room, including preoperative and postoperative areas; dental department; laboratory and radiological departments; support and administration of the hospital.
