Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated Davydiv Brid village in Kherson region

Ukrainian forces liberated the village of Davydiv Brid in the Kherson region.

The Ministry of Defense released on Twitter a video of military personnel raising Ukrainian flag.

The footage shows soldiers of the 35th Marine Infantry Brigade named after Rear-Admiral Mykhailo Ostrogradsky.

“The Ukrainian marines are confidently advancing towards the Black Sea,” tweeted the ministry.

Davydiv Brid is a village in southern Ukraine. It’s located in the Velyka Oleksandrivka settlement community, Beryslav district of the Kherson region.

The settlement was occupied on the night of March 12-13. The Ukrainian military managed to liberate Davydiv Brid on May 31, but on June 17 the village was again captured by the invaders.

The Ukrainian servicemen are gradually advancing in the Kherson region and liberating populated areas of the region.

Serhiy Khlan, MP of the Kherson Regional Council, announced the day before that the invaders were preparing to “withdraw” from Davydiv Brid, as well as from two neighbouring villages —Velyka and Mala Oleksandrivka.

As previously reported, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the Ukrainian servicemen liberated Arkhanhelske and Myroliubivka in the Kherson region.

The Ukrainian servicemen also continueliberating settlements in the Kharkiv region. On October 3, the Defense Forces of Ukraine liberated the village of Borova in the Izium district of the Kharkiv region.
