The Army of Belarus is ready to strike on the territory of Poland in response to “provocations by Western countries.”

Major General Ruslan Kosygin, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of Belarus, shared this with the reporters, BELTA reports.

According to Kosygin, Belarus is ready to appropriately respond to Western provocations, and in the event of a conflict, the territory of Poland, with its military infrastructure, becomes the primary target of attack.

Kosygin also noted that Belarus is prepared for various scenarios of the development of the situation.

“I would not like this scenario to be a military one, but the West must clearly understand that our response to any armed provocations will definitely be appropriate and tough,” Kosygin explained.

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff of Belarus believes that these “plans” are confirmed by the operational and combat training of the military of the Allied countries carried out in the countries adjacent to Belarus, and in which the Russian Federation and Belarus are considered as enemies.

“The territory of Poland, as well as the Baltic states, is turning into a training ground, on the territory of which the USA plans to unleash another bloody conflict in Europe against the Russian Federation and its allies,” the major general said.

According to him, the process of installing the anti-missile defense base into operation is being completed in Poland.

Kosygin believes that Washington and Brussels, under the pretext of containing the threat from the east, are working out the mechanism of creating groups of troops to be possibly used in the respective operational directions against Russia and Belarus.

As previously reported, Alexander Lukashenko, self-appointed President of the Republic of Belarus, stated that he gave an order to “have a target” on the decision-making centers in the capitals of countries bordering Belarus.

Lukashenko made it clear that he plans to use the “Polonez” multiple rocket launcher systems.

Military trainings were also ongoing in a number of regions of Belarus until July 9. In addition, three types of trainings are currently underway in the Gomel region.
