Border guards captured a wounded Russian who had been waiting for evacuation for 21 days.

The press service of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported on this.

It is reported that the 34-year-old native of the Tver region crossed the border of the Kharkiv region with his unit on May 10 and participated in the battles for Vovchansk.

On May 12, the invader sustained a shrapnel wound during a Ukrainian drone attack, and the unit left him in a building in Vovchansk.

The Russian soldier was discovered by an assault group of the Steel Frontier Brigade during a mission.

The battle for the Kharkiv region

In May, soldiers of the 92nd Ivan Sirko Assault Brigade hit hundreds of targets in the Kharkiv region with drones.

To detect and destroy targets, the brigade involves aerial reconnaissance servicemen of the Attack Drone Group “Flight Club”, the Attack Drone Battalion “Achilles”, and other units with attack drones.

According to published data, 141 units of equipment were damaged, and another 45 units of equipment were completely destroyed.

On June 2, it was reported that soldiers of the 42nd Mechanized Brigade inflicted heavy losses on the invaders near the village of Starytsia in the Kharkiv region.

The Brigade has confirmation that 20 Russian infantrymen were killed, and 21 more wounded.

It is also reported that the enemy lost three T-62 tanks, and another was damaged.

In addition, one infantry fighting vehicle, one 2S1 Gvozdika self-propelled gun, and two vehicles were destroyed.
