Border guards have shot down the Russian Orlan-10 in the Donetsk region

Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down a Russian reconnaissance drone in the Donetsk region.

Militarnyi reports about this with reference to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The Russian drone was conducting air reconnaissance over the positions of Ukrainian forces.

Troops of the Kramatorsk unit were the ones to shoot down the Orlan-10 UAV.

It is reported that the Russian reconnaissance drone was shot down using small arms.

A video featuring the Donetsk region Border Guards inspecting the downed Orlan-10 had also been released.

Orlan-10 is a multirole unmanned aviation system designed to monitor extended and local facilities in hard-to-reach areas manufactured by Special Technology Center LLC.
