Defence Intelligence: Black Box project caused over $700 million in losses to Russians
The Black Box joint secret project of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the Come Back Alive Foundation, and blogger and volunteer Ihor Lachenkov, has already caused more than $700 million in losses to the Russian invaders.
The press service of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported about this on its social networks.
It is noted that the results of the work of the Black Box can be seen at many objects of the aggressor state, both in the temporarily occupied and in the territory of the Russian Federation.
The Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine clarified that during April-May, the work of the project could be observed in logistics centers, transport hubs, and in places where the military equipment of the invaders and their manpower were concentrated, as well as on other targets.
Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, explained that this was only part of the information about the Black Box project that could be made public at the moment.
“More than $700 million is our next contribution to reducing the offensive potential of the enemy’s army, demoralizing the fighting spirit and making them accept their defeat in this war,” said Budanov.
As previously reported, last year, at the request of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the Come Back Alive foundation which provides competent assistance to the military, together with blogger and volunteer Ihor Lachenkov, raised 230 million hryvnias for the secret Black Box project. This was the scaling up of the previous and also secret initiative with a total cost of 40 million hryvnias, which was implemented together with the Come Back Alive Foundation.
Since the beginning of 2023, more than 270 million hryvnias have been accumulated under this project.
According to the Defence Intelligence, the initiative made it possible to “cause significant damage to the enemy’s defense sector and reduce the number of his troops that were supposed to replenish the occupation contingent.”
In May, the Come Back Alive Foundation handed over the PD-2 unmanned aerial vehicle to the air reconnaissance of the Defence Intelligence.
Previously, Ukrainian intelligence officers received a mobile intelligence station for over 41 million hryvnias.
In general, since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the cost of assistance to the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine from the Come Back Alive Foundation has exceeded one billion hryvnias.
