Dnipropetrovsk region: National Police discovered an intact Shahed-136
During another Russian attack, Ukraine’s air defense forces landed a Shahed-136 drone that crashed in a wasteland near a town in the Dnipro region.
The National Police of Ukraine reported on this.
During the search, the National Police of Ukraine found an almost intact Shahed-136 Shahed-136 drone.
The police noted that it is very rare to find a UAV in this condition. They found an intact warhead, as well as all units.
Currently, the main task of the EOD specialists is to dismantle and destroy the warhead.
The drone itself will be disassembled and examined by experts to better understand its capabilities and create countermeasures.
In addition, thanks to the research of these drones, it is possible to observe their development and improvements that are used in new batches.
As Militarnyi previously reported, a group of hackers from the Prana Network hacked into the mail servers of the Iranian company IRGC Sahara Thunder, which contained an array of data on the production of Shahed-136 loitering munitions for Russia.
The documents do not directly name the type of the manufactured product. Instead, drones are referred to in the documents under a special code as “Dolphin 632 engine boat.”
According to the papers, by 2022, Russia intended to produce 6,000 Iranian drones under license at its facilities within 2.5 years.
In addition, Prana Network released data on the production of Iranian Shahed-136 drones for Russia and showed the technological process of their production.
Most of the information has been made public regarding the production of composite airframe components, its painting, assembly, and subsequent inspection stages.
