Drones attacked oil depot in temporarily occupied Luhansk region

Strike drones attacked an oil depot in the town of Rovenky, in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region.

The oil depot was struck on the morning of October 12, 2024, causing a fire in one of the tanks.

There are currently no official comments or statements from the local occupying authorities.

It should be noted that the oil depot is located near the town of Rovenky at coordinates 48.09462797986667, 39.3617685651657 and is about 115 kilometers from the front line.

The fire at the oil depot is also confirmed by the NASA satellites, which have been recording high temperatures at the facility for about 6 hours.

It is worth recalling that this is not the first time the oil depot in Rovenky has been hit. On May 10, 2024, the occupation authorities reported a severe fire at one of the important facilities, which later turned out to be an oil depot.

In addition, the local residents began publishing videos of the strike that caused a severe fire.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported that on October 7, 2024, an oil depot had caught fire in Feodosia in the temporarily occupied Crimea at night.

According to the pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel Krymsky Veter, the fire occurred after several powerful explosions that took place around 04:30 in Feodosia.

Later, the ASTRA Telegram channel clarified that the burning oil depot in Feodosia is the JSC Sea Oil Terminal, which is the largest in occupied Crimea in terms of oil transshipment.

The so-called “authorities” of the city later confirmed the information, but according to their version, there was a “fire”, the cause of which was not disclosed.
