Estonia will be sending the demining team to Ukraine.

The Estonian informational portal ERR informs about this.

Plans are already in place to send the demining team, as stated by Kristian Jaani, Minister of the Interior on Friday, April 29, after a meeting of the National Defense Council.

A five-man rotating team along with three vehicles will be arriving in Ukraine and will be assisting the Ukrainian colleagues.

The Minister of the Interior mentioned that Estonian specialists will be helping in the areas where there is an excessive amount of the leftover mines and unexploded ordnance, yet there are no active hostilities ongoing.

Previously, the Republic of Estonia had shipped a batch of lethal weapons, including 122-mm howitzers, to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, the donated lethal weapons from Estonia included anti-tank missiles and recoilless anti-tank guns.

Additionally, the disposable grenade launchers, hand grenades, and anti-tank missiles compatible with the Ukrainian lethal weapons, most probably Javelin systems, were transferred.

Previously, the shipbuilding manufacturer in Estonia has started construction of a lifeboat ordered by Ukraine, which will be operating in the Black Sea.
