Exchange of prisoners: the head of Shevchenkivska united territorial community, Oleh Pylypenko has been released from captivity
The exchange was conducted according to the “4 on 5” formula.
The Head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim reported about this.
The head of Shevchenkivska united territorial community, Oleh Pylypenko has been released from captivity. The Russian military captured him on March 10.
A video with the return of released people back home was released.
Four more civilians were also released.
“The exchange was conducted according to the “4 on 5” formula (four Russians, five Ukrainians),” Kim added.
On video the servicemen that were accompanying the released people greeted them on behalf of the Security Service of Ukraine and Department of Police of the Mykolaiv region.
As previously reported, on May 30, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk said that from now on the issues of prisoner exchange will be dealt with by the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine.
