
Finnish government prepares the 18th aid package for Ukraine
The Prime Minister of Finland announces the 18th defense aid package for Ukraine.
This was announced on the official website of the Finnish government.
During his visit to Kyiv, Prime Minister Petteri Orpo met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
At the meeting, he announced the allocation of the 18th defense assistance package. Prime Minister Orpo emphasized that Finland will continue providing strong and unwavering support to Ukraine.

The Finnish government plans to transfer military equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces within the new package.
During the meeting, they discussed further steps to help Ukraine, material assistance, and Ukraine’s efforts to achieve a just peace.
To date, Finland’s total assistance has amounted to about €1.7 billion. The country has provided Ukraine with 17 packages of defense and material assistance totaling €1.2 billion.
“We will make a decision and let you know later this week,” Petteri Orpo commented.

Militarnyi previously reported that Croatia and North Macedonia are preparing new defense packages for Ukraine.
During the Ukraine-Balkans summit in Athens, Zelensky met with Dimitar Kovačevski, Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia.
President Zelensky thanked the North Macedonian Prime Minister for his unwavering support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Volodymyr Zelensky also thanked Dimitar Kovačevski for his defense support, including the preparation of a new aid package.
