Freedom or Death: in Konotop, choosing between capitulation and artillery shelling, the townspeople chose to fight

In Konotop, Sumy region, the Russian army held talks with local authorities. An ultimatum was issued: either the city surrenders or it will be covered with artillery. Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin asked what the community would decide. The townspeople decided: to fight.
