General Staff confirms the strike on Russian air defense systems in Crimea

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirms a missile strike on Russian air defense positions in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on this.

The group missile strike reportedly targeted one enemy S-300 air defense system near Belbek and two S-400 air defense systems near Belbek and Sevastopol.

In particular, two radars of the S-300 and S-400 systems were destroyed. Information on the third radar is being clarified.

In addition, further detonations of ammunition were recorded in all three areas where Russian anti-aircraft missile divisions were deployed.

Militarnyi previously reported on the published satellite images of the damaged air defense systems.

The satellite images capture damaged equipment from the S-300 air defense system deployed by the Russians near the village of Velyke in the Yevpatoria district.

First, the 5N63S self-propelled command post, which controls the operation of the 30N6 illumination and guidance radar, was destroyed.

In addition, a satellite image of the position of the S-400 air defense system near the village of Rubinivka, Dzhankoi district, was published.

It captures the moment when the equipment was deployed, and the positions of the Russian S-400 crew were changed, where the attack damaged the 48Y6-K1 Podlet radar.

On June 10, the Ukrainian military conducted a series of successful strikes against Russian S-400 and S-300 air defense systems in occupied Crimea.

The General Staff noted that none of the missiles fired had been intercepted by enemy air defense systems.
