Heavy flamethrower system TOS-1 seized in the Chernihiv region

In the Chernihiv region near Mena, Ukrainians seized a TOS-1 Buratino heavy flamethrower system.

In the video that is spreading on the network, the most likely transport and charging vehicle is of the TZM-T.

As we have already reported, on March 1, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk region seized the launcher of this system.

Heavy flamethrower system (TOC) – one of the weapons systems designed to disable lightly armored vehicle, to destruct buildings and structures by a massive explosion and to destroy the enemy’s manpower, located in the open terrain and in fortifications.

It fires with incendiary or thermobaric ammunition. Destruction occurs by a field of high temperature and excessive pressure.

In 2001, the Russian army adopted an advanced system TOS-1A “Soltsepyok”.
