In the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, not two, but three Russian helicopters and two planes were likely destroyed.

This is the result of the work of the Russian air defense.

Yuriy Ihnat, Ukrainian Air Force Spokesman, reported this on the air of the telethon.

Answering the presenters’ questions, he emphasized that there might be not four but five destroyed targets. He also noted that the Russian side itself recognized the destruction of its aircraft.

“Helicopters and EW helicopters were involved. The strike group was attacking Ukraine from the north, from the Bryansk region. They do it every day. Strikes were carried out with guided aerial bombs. There are talks of a third helicopter, so five [destroyed aerial targets, – ed.] in total. They have found some trouble. They wanted to bomb our peaceful people, our peaceful regions,” he said.

The day before, it was announced that two Mi-8 helicopters, a Su-34 strike fighter jet and a Su-34 fighter bomber have crashed in the Bryansk region.

According to Russian sources, it could have been not the usual Mi-8 but Mi-8MTPR-1 EW helicopters.

One of the videos shows a missile hitting a helicopter.

The helicopters were shot down near the village of Suretsky Muravey of the Klintsovsky district and near the village of Volkustichi of the Bryansk Region.

In turn, the Russian Su-34 fighter bomber and Su-35 strike fighter jet were shot down in close proximity to the Ukrainian border near the village of Istrivka near Starodub.
