In Rubizhne, the 2S4 Tyulpan mortar was neutralized by the Ukrainian servicemen

Ukrainian defense forces neutralized the Russian military’s 2S4 Tyulpan self-propelled mortar.

The video featuring the destruction of the mortar was released by Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration.

A 240-mm self-propelled mortar of the invaders was destroyed in the Luhansk region.

According to confirmed information, the mortar was destroyed in the town of Rubizhne, in the Sievierodonetsk district of the Luhansk region.

This mortar destroyed the Pavlograd bridge and was shelling Sievierodonetsk.

It is reported that the mortar was destroyed by the soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine.

“The punishment came. The soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine neutralized enemy vehicles that destroyed the Pavlograd Bridge and were shelling Sievierodonetsk. We are grateful to the Russian propagandists for the tip,” Serhiy Haidai said.

On May 20, Russian propaganda demonstrated the work of 2S4 Tyulpan mortar from the city of Rubizhne.

The invaders reported that a 240-mm mortar struck the bridge connecting Sievierodonetsk with Lysychansk.

2S4 Tyulpan is designed to destroy the most fortified structures. The mortar is attached through the frame of the base plate to the beams on the upper stern sheet based on the 2C4 chassis.

A hydraulic system is used for rough aiming in the vertical plane (sighting) and charging the mortar.

The main ammunition of the 2B8 mortar includes a high-explosive 53-F-864 mortar projectile with a maximum firing range of 9.65 km, as well as a 3F2 projectile with a maximum firing range of 19.69 km.
