In the Kharkiv region, the SSU found a warehouse with aircraft missiles and engines

In the Kharkiv region, the SSU uncovered a secret warehouse with ammunition and components for military equipment worth $200 million.

Militarnyi reports about this with reference to the SSU.

According to preliminary information from the Security Service of Ukraine, the spare parts found there were intended for the Russian damaged equipment, which the enemy would be repairing at the city’s production facilities.

“Thus, Russia was planning to use Kharkiv as a “transhipments base” for its further offensive operation deep into the territory of Ukraine,” said the SSU.

All this equipment has already been transferred for the needs of the Ukrainian army.

“Through the efforts of the SSU, the entire withdrawn consignment of weapons will be applied for the needs of the Armed Forces and will be used to protect our state,” stressed the SSU.

Among other items, upon the searches, the SSU seized and handed over to the Ministry of Defense:

• 60 complete tank engines;
• various spare parts and components for the armored vehicles that were put in 10 railway cars for faster transportation.

In addition, 26t R-73 and R-27 air-to-air missiles were detected in the disguised premises.

This equipment is part of the regular armament of the combat aviation units and is used to hit the aircraft.

The SSU uncovered that the equipment in this warehouse had previously been stolen from military arsenals.

Right before the start of the full-scale invasion, the owners of the warehouse had the intention to cooperate with the occupying forces and provide them with the equipment for the enemy’s needs.

As of now, the SSU has identified those involved in the crime and is taking immediate actions to detain them.
