Israel to provide treatment to 20 Ukrainian soldiers

Ukrainian wounded servicemen will be treated in Israel.

The Embassy of Israel in Ukraine reports this.

20 Ukrainian servicemen who were seriously wounded during hostilities with the Russian invaders will undergo a course of treatment in medical institutions of the Middle Eastern country.

“Israel will accept for treatment 20 Ukrainian servicemen that were seriously wounded during the hostilities,” the statement said.

According to the Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine Mykhailo Brodsky, the transportation of the wounded soldiers was organized by the embassy, the Israeli Mashav center and the Ministry of Health of Israel in cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Treatment of the wounded soldiers includes prosthetics and rehabilitation.

According to the embassy, the first Ukrainian servicemen have already arrived in Israel for treatment.

Previously, Israel has already sent planes with humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

They delivered medicine and medical supplies.

Ukraine received four armored ambulances from Israel’s National Emergency Medical Service.

They are used for evacuation of the wounded from the most dangerous areas.

Israeli doctors helped Ukrainian refugees as part of a humanitarian mission.
