Prior to raising funds for the Bayraktar TB2, Lithuanians have already purchased two Estonian EOS C VTOL UAVs.
A recent update revealed another purchase of four more Estonian-made drones for 660,000 euros.
Andrius Tapinas said that the total cost of the 6 drones was 990,000 euros, approximately 165,000 euros per unit.
They were named “MAGYLA” after the ancient Lithuanian goddess of death.
Ukrainian operators are already training with the UAVs. Four drones have already arrived in Ukraine. Two more are coming in two months.
The Electric High Performance VTOL Mini-UAV (EOS C VTOL) drones were developed by the Estonian company “Threod Systems”. It specializes in unmanned aerial systems featuring fixed wings, vertical takeoff and landing.
The EOS C is a high-performance electric mini-UAV with top flight characteristics and numerous unique features.
The Estonian-made UAV works extremely quietly, remaining inaudible even at low altitudes.
Its camera can capture enemy’s equipment in detail at a distance of 15 kilometers.
The drone has high reliability and safety during vertical takeoff and landing.
