As in the previous aid package, attention is drawn to a point with the integration of launchers, missiles and radars with Ukrainian air defense systems, better known as FrankenSAM.

As previously reported, the United States under the FrankenSAM project helped Ukraine get two types of anti-aircraft missile systems capable of using Western missiles.

Military aid from the United States

On April 26, Militarnyi reported that the administration of United States President Joseph Biden had announced the provision of a $6 billion military aid package to Ukraine.

The past package of assistance was provided within the framework of the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) program. As part of this program, the United States purchases weapons from American industry or partners.

As previously reported, on the previous military aid package “Militarnyi” spoke on April 24.

In general, the package was formed to transmit a large number of missile weapons, including anti-aircraft missiles – namely short-range AIM-9M aerial missiles, RIM-7 missiles, as well as Stinger MANPADS.

The list also includes anti-tank rocket launchers, including portable anti-tank missile systems TOW, Javeline and AT-4 grenade launchers.

Among other things, the list indicates the transfer of a large amount of ammunition to the artillery systems of 105- and 155-mm caliber, as well as the firearms.
