M777 howitzers from the USA are already working in Ukraine at Russians

The Armed Forces of Ukraine showed the work of the American М777 howitzer against the Russian military.

The video with the firing of the American howitzer was demonstrated by Ukrainian journalist Yuri Butusov.

American М777 howitzers have already been transferred to combat Ukrainian artillery units.

The journalist said that howitzers are used in the east direction.

Also recently, a photo with М549 rocket-assisted projectiles, which had Ukrainian inscriptions, has appeared on social networks.

These shells are used with American М777А2 howitzers.

Their range of fire from М777 howitzers is about 30 km.

М777 can use M982 Excalibur rocket-assisted guided projectiles , which increases the range of accurate shots from М777up to 40 km.

This allows it to gain an advantage over the howitzers of Soviet-era production, which Russia is using in the war against Ukraine.

Reminder: American 155-mm howitzers are included in the new military aid package to Ukraine.

The aid package from the United States includes 144 thousands of 155-mm ammunition, as well as tractors for transporting howitzers.

“This will be enough to fully supply five Ukrainian battalions with artillery for possible use in the Donbas,” – explained the Pentagon spokesman John Kirby.
