Madyar’s Birds Neutralize Russian T-80BVM Tank and IFV in Donetsk Region
The Madyar’s Birds Detachment detected and destroyed Russian armored vehicles moving near the town of Ukrayinsk, Donetsk region.
The unit said that FPV attack drones were used to destroy them.
The video shows the Ukrainian drone operators first targeted a Russian T-80BVM tank, but it continued to move.
Several more drones were sent to attack the invaders’ tank, which succeeded in disabling and then destroying it.
The crew left the tank, but then one of the tank crew members returned to get his belongings and was also hit by a Ukrainian drone.
Ukrainian drone operators then began to pursue a Russian BMP-1AM Basurmanin.
In fact, the Basurmanin IFV is a fairly simple and cheap modernization of the long-obsolete BMP-1.
The modernized IFV received a combat module from the BTR-82A with a 30-mm 2A72 gun with a combined sight.
The Ukrainian operators of the Madyar’s Birds Detachment used one FPV drone to stop this infantry fighting vehicle and then two more drones to destroy it.
The destruction of Russian armored vehicles occurred near the city of Ukrayinsk, which, according to DeepState analysts, has recently come under occupation.
The town is located in the Kurakhove sector, bringing the Russian army closer to Hirnyk, another mining monotown situated south of Ukrayinsk.
The Russian army is also advancing toward Hirnyk from the east: the aggressor has “gobbled up” part of the ledge between Zhelaniy Pershyi and Krasnohorivka.
