Mobile groups equipped with MANPADS and ATGMs will receive pickups from benefactors

The Foundation providing assistance to the military has prepared over fifty vehicles for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The pickups were prepared by the team of Come Back Alive Foundation, which is actively involved in providing the military with various types of assistance.

The Foundation will transfer 51 Fiat pickups worth 1,026,500 euros, or 20,000 euros per car to the military.

Vehicles will be received primarily by the Reserve Corps, particularly the 68th Separate Jager Brigade.

The vehicles will also be delivered to the mobile air defense groups armed with portable anti-aircraft missile systems.

Pickups will also be transferred to the mobile anti-tank groups with anti-tank missile systems.

“Cars – pickups, jeeps, buses are one of the biggest needs of the military at the moment,” says Taras Chmut, Head of the Foundation.

He also emphasizes that it is best to hand over new cars to the military than used ones, although the latter would be cheaper.

“Yet a new car is a new car. It is the one that, for once, will reach the troops on its own. It will not get stuck in the field when you need to rush to the assignment. It does not require 24/7 search for spare parts and then the week-long delivery; it does not require more attention than it offers benefits,” said Taras Chmut.
