The fire at the Ilsky oil refinery in the Siversky district spread to an area of 400 square meters.

167 people and 37 units of special equipment were involved in extinguishing it.

According to the Russian official, the population of the village where the plant is located is not at risk. He reported no casualties as a result of this incident.

Sources in emergency services shared with the Russian media that the fall of a drone caused the fire.

“Following an attack by an unidentified drone, a fire broke out in the reservoir of the Ilsky oil refinery in the settlement of Ilsky in the Siversky district,” said the emergency service representative.

The Ilsky oil refinery is located in the Krasnodar Krai. The enterprise carries out activities of reception, storage, and processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, as well as shipment of petroleum products by road and rail transport.
