Paratroopers captured nine Russian invaders in the Kurakhove sector
Soldiers of the 46th Airmobile Brigade captured a unit of Russian invaders in the Donetsk region.
The incident took place in the Kurakhove sector, where the invaders are trying to advance, constantly storming Ukrainian positions.
The press service of the 46th Airmobile Brigade published the video of the capture of the invaders.
The brigade said that recently, the paratroopers captured nine Russian invaders, thus replenishing the exchange fund.
According to the military, thanks to intelligence, they managed to detect a hideout where the Russian advanced unit was located in time.
The building was then surrounded and taken under fire control.
“After some reflection, the Russian soldiers made the only right decision in this case – to come out with their hands up and surrender to Ukrainian captivity,” the 46th Airmobile Brigade shared.
Thanks to the replenishment of the exchange fund, more Ukrainian soldiers will be able to return home in the future.
Soldiers of the 46th Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously fought off another enemy attempt to seize positions in the Kurakhove sector.
The Russian soldiers made another attempt to attack the positions of Ukrainian paratroopers and brought in a significant amount of military equipment.
The wheeled and tracked vehicles also included improvised vehicles with improved protection and increased body capacity for transporting military personnel.
In addition, the enemy failed to conduct minimal engineering reconnaissance, which is why some of the combat vehicles were destroyed by mines and abandoned by their crews. In total, the paratroopers destroyed 13 units of Russian equipment using minefields, artillery fire, ATGMs, and FPV drones.
