Prisoner exchange: 17 Ukrainians, including one civilian, are coming back home

Another round of the prisoners of war exchange was completed within the 17 for 15 formula.

Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported this.

“16 Ukrainian servicemen are returning home, including 2 officers and 14 soldiers. One civilian was also released,” the Coordination Headquarters stated.

Five of those who had been released have serious injuries and are in need of immediate treatment.

The work of the Coordination Headquarters to return all the captured Ukrainians continues.

The process of prisoner exchange is currently within the responsibility of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine.

As previously reported, on June 17, Volodymyr Zelensky reported the release of the military doctor Yuliia Payevska from captivity.

Yuliia Payevska and her driver were taken prisoner on March 16 in Mariupol.
