The Russian military deployed Murom-P long-range visual surveillance systems on the front lines.

A Ukrainian serviceman using the nickname “Sergey Flash” showed footage of these systems in Russian positions.

“A new Murom-P system is spotted in all directions of the frontline. It has a thermal imager and a zoom camera. Can operate autonomously from elevators and other high objects,” says the military.

According to the military, the system can see a person at 10 km with a camera and at 4 km with a thermal imager.

“[It] could spot a car, using a thermal imager, at a distance of 8 km. “[We] detect [it], identify it, and destroy it,” the military stated.

The complex is supplied by the Russian “Stilsoft” developer and manufacturer of integrated security systems, special equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles.

The Murom-P autonomous mobile surveillance system is deploying rapidly.

It is designed for round-the-clock remote video surveillance, monitoring and protection of open areas, approaches, perimeters and routes to objects.

The system can be formed from three variants. In full, the system provides:

  • detection and recognition of objects in a controlled area;
  • transmitting the received information to a remote monitoring post using wireless technology;
  • generation and issuance of alarm notifications;
  • determination and refinement of coordinates of “violators,” tracking the trajectory of their movement and display in real time on the terrain map with an indication of information about objects.

The distinctive features of the system are the possibility of its rapid deployment and long-term work in autonomous mode.

The mobility of the system is ensured by the fast-mounting/collapsible design of the components of the product. The system can be deployed on site in 2 hours with a crew of 3 people. Special cases are used to pack and transport the components of the system.

The Russian military uses Strizh-3 EW systems against Ukrainian drones.
