The Russian Aerospace Forces received another batch of new Su-35S fighter jets.

Russian media reported on this.

The fighter jets were transferred to the factory airfield in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, which is part of the United Aircraft Corporation.

The new batch of two Su-35S multi-role fighters is the second this year. The company reports that further production will be accelerated so that new aircraft can be delivered every two months.

The aircraft are being built within the state defense order, which has been executed by the United Aircraft Corporation since 2019.

The fighters have already undergone factory tests to confirm their reliability and declared flight characteristics.

In early 2024, the plant reported high utilization.

According to them, the production of Su-35S and Su-57 aircraft is scheduled until 2028, including the possibility of extending the production contracts.

In addition, the company aims to fulfill its plan to hire up to 800 new employees to assemble combat aircraft by the end of 2024.

This is primarily due to the announced increase in the production of combat aircraft that Russia is losing in the skies over Ukraine.

Militarnyi previously reported that Russia plans to resume production of the А-50 airborne early warning and control aircraft due to the loss of two planes.

According to the head of the State Corporation Rostec, the resumption of production is due to the need for these aircraft by the Russian Aerospace Forces, as well as the interest of foreign countries.
