Russian Federation is forming rifle battalions involving the instructors of military academies for the war in Ukraine – General Staff

Russia continues to take measures to replenish its losses among the military and form reserve units for its war in Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

The enemy is also continuing the so-called “mobilization” in the temporarily occupied by the enemy of Ukrainian territories.

According to available information, four rifle battalions are being formed on the basis of the 36th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military District of the Russian Federation, stationed in the village of Borzya, Zabaykalsky Krai.

The recruitment of officer positions in these battalions is conducted at the expense of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School instructors.

In addition, earlier, the formation of a naval rifle regiment on the basis of the Black Sea Higher Naval School in temporarily occupied Sevastopol was reported.

“The Russian military leadership continues to apply the practices of the Second World War during the formation of these units, which indicates their significant problems and miscalculations,” the report said.

The General Staff notes that the so-called “mobilization” in the territories seized by the Russians is also ongoing.

Since September 14 of this year, the previously issued documents on the postponement of the mobilization of about five hundred employees of the Yenakiyevsky Metallurgical Plant were deemed invalid.

“In addition, a ban was introduced on men leaving the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea without the permission of military commissariats,” the summary notes.

Yesterday it was reported that the Russian Federation sent 400 prisoners charged with criminal offenses from the city of Tambov to the war in Ukraine. They should be strengthening Russian troops in the temporarily occupied territories.
