Russian “Orlan-10” UAV discovered in the Kyiv region
In the Vyshgorod district of the Kyiv region, an enemy “Orlan-10” reconnaissance drone was discovered.
Kyiv Region Police reported this.
They note that a resident of the village of Liubymivka discovered the drone in the forest.
Exactly what this aircraft was filming will be determined by law enforcement agencies. Andriy Nebytov, Head of the police of the Kyiv region, announced this.
The Russian Orlan-10 is a medium-range, multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicle. It is used at distances of up to 120 km from the control point. It can fly a distance of 600 km in autonomous mode.
Orlan-10’s time in the air is up to 18 hours, and flight speed is 90 to 150 km per hour.
The drone’s weight is between 14 and 18 kg, of which the payload is 5 kg. It is launched from a special catapult.
As previously reported, the 92nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Russian Orlan-10 UAV mobile control post.
