The Russian invasion forces have lost a Buk TELAR in southern Ukraine.

The photo of the destroyed launcher was published by the Lost_warinua Telegram channel.

It happened in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region.

Judging by the photo, the 9A317M TELAR of the 9K317M Buk-M3 complex was destroyed.

It was probably destroyed by the Ukrainian defense forces using one of the weapons in service.

The photo shows that before the destruction, the Russian installation was in a shelter, but it did not save it. It was completely burned and cannot be restored.

The anti-aircraft missiles with which it was equipped also burned. Presumably, the powerful combustion of their solid-fuel rocket motors was the main reason for the destruction of the Buk-M3 missile launcher. It is not yet known what weapons the Ukrainian defense used to destroy it.

It could have been either HIMARS or drones of various types, including a bomber that could have dropped a munition on the shelter where the occupiers’ gun was located.

In recent months, Ukraine’s defense forces have increased the number of strikes against Russian air defense systems in various sectors. This is evidenced by videos and photos published by the military.

For this purpose, Ukrainian defenders use a variety of means, ranging from tactical ballistic missiles with cluster warheads provided by the United States to attack drones of various types and high-precision rockets.

In particular, the Ukrainian military recently showed a video of the destruction of a self-propelled missile launcher of the Russian Buk air defense system in one of the frontline areas.

It was located in a position in a forest belt and was detected by Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance. The gun was then hit by a high-precision munition, possibly from a US HIMARS rocket system.
