Russian invasion forces killed a civilian in the village of Selydove, Donetsk region.

The Office of the General Prosecutor of Ukraine reported on this.

A pre-trial investigation is underway in the criminal proceedings regarding violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

On October 27, 2024, several Telegram channels published information about the killing of civilians by the invaders in the town of Selydove.

The released video shows representatives of the aggressor state’s troops allegedly shooting at a civilian car in a residential area with automatic weapons.

During the attack, there were two citizens in the car, one of them was wounded.

After that, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine arrived at the scene and, having pulled the victim away from the line of fire, provided him with first aid and evacuated civilians from the area of the fire. Preliminary, it happened on October 24, 2024.

In addition, according to media reports, the enemy shot two women in the town. Also, as noted by online resources, the bodies of dead civilians are found in the area, which was practically not affected by active hostilities.

That is, these killings took place after the Russian soldiers had taken control of these territories.

Currently, urgent investigative and search activities are underway to establish all the circumstances of the events and identify the invaders’ victims.

On October 21, it was reported that Russian soldiers shot dead two captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the village of Selydove in the Donetsk region.

The invaders, who stormed the forest area near the town of Selidove, put unarmed prisoners of war face down.

They kept them in this position, pressing their feet to the ground, and after a while, shot them at point-blank range with automatic weapons.
