Soldiers from 130th Battalion of TDF shoot down an enemy DJI Mavic with dropped munition
Drone operators of the reconnaissance platoon of the 130th Territorial Defense Battalion shot down an enemy DJI Mavic using a dropped munition from drone.
The video was posted on the unit’s telegram channel.
The footage shows the enemy Mavic, marked with red tape, hovering over a forest plantation.
When the enemy drone stabilized, a drone operator dropped a munition that hit the drone.
Operators say that this is the first confirmed case of shooting down an enemy drone using the drop munition.
The “Hostri kartuzy” unit detailed that the Foot Crasher munition was used to destroy the enemy quadcopter.
FPV interceptors
Recently, it was reported that soldiers of the 38th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment named after Lieutenant General Yurii Tiutiunnyk from the Operational Command “South” had armed themselves with interceptor drones.
In one video, anti-aircraft gunners showed ten interceptions at once: 5 Supercam, 3 ZALA, one Lancet and one Orlan were shot down.

On September 6, Militarnyi reported that operators of interceptor drones from the Kholodnyi Yar Brigade had shot down fifty enemy reconnaissance drones in the Toretsk sector in a short time.
A company of SIGNUM attack drones from the 93rd Mechanized Brigade, which is involved in the defense of this area, destroyed 49 Russian UAVs in a short time.
