Soldiers of the 110th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade demonstrated a captured BMP-2
The Ukrainian military is using the trophy equipment of the invaders.
The troops of the 110th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade demonstrated the seized BMP-2 of the invaders, which will now be destroying the enemy.
The video featuring the IFV was published by Ukraine Weapons Tracker on Twitter.
The military noted that they captured the equipment when the BMP crew was not in place.
“The Russian invaders, probably unexpectedly for themselves, joined the Europeans in supplying equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We, the Ukrainians, are thrifty people, we will find a use for this good,” the Brigade emphasized.
Russian BMP-2 is fully operational, and the military noted that there will be no challenges with using this equipment.
“In general, theirs and ours are similar. No different, they are the same. Everything is the same. I think that we will manage this equipment,” said the serviceman, who was examining the equipment.
BMP-2 is a Soviet tracked infantry fighting vehicle designed to transport personnel to the frontline, and increase their mobility, armaments, and protection on the battlefield in the context of the use of nuclear weapons and joint actions with tanks in battle.
Previously, the SSU counterintelligence officers and soldiers of the 112nd Brigade of the Territorial Defence destroyed nine units of enemy equipment within a week.
