Soldiers of the 14th Chervona Kalyna Brigade defeated Russian positions in the Pokrovsk sector
A tank and an infantry fighting vehicle of the 14th Chervona Kalyna Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine defeated the positions of the Russian invaders in the Pokrovsk sector.
The brigade’s press service reported on this on Facebook and published a video of the incident.
The video captures Ukrainian servicemen’s combat vehicles blowing up Russian positions and buildings where the invaders have taken refuge.
The brigade noted that Russian infantry groups are using landings and abandoned buildings to move closer to Ukrainian positions.
According to Martin Tuitero (@TuiteroMartin), a combat observer of the Russian-Ukrainian war on X (Twitter), the destruction of the Russian invaders took place on the outskirts of the village of Ivanivka in the Donetsk region.
The footage shows Ukrainian armored vehicles driving down a village street during the day and firing their guns at the positions of the Russian soldiers. Thus, preventing the enemy from gaining a foothold there.
The report emphasizes that the soldiers of the 14th Chervona Kalyna Brigade are currently operating in the hottest area, where the invaders have deployed the maximum number of their reserves, traditionally sparing no people during assault operations.
On the morning of Wednesday, September 4, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled 61 enemy attacks in the Pokrovsk sector.
The Russian invaders are trying to advance near Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Novotroitske, and Selidove.
At the same time, the Russians’ main efforts are being made in the areas of Novohrodivka, Hrodivka, and Mykhailivka.
Previously, soldiers of the 15th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine destroyed an assault group of invaders in the Pokrovsk sector with an accurate shot.
Seven Russian soldiers, who had gathered near the vehicle, were actually blown up by a high-explosive fragmentation shell along with the armored vehicle.
