Soldiers of the Iron Brigade received the Hor unmanned system
The soldiers of the 3rd Tank Brigade have received a Hor unmanned aerial reconnaissance system.
It was recently handed over by the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation to the soldiers of the 2nd Self-Propelled Artillery Division of this Brigade.
The cost of the complex components transferred to the Ukrainian defenders is UAH 7,148,446.
The charitable foundation reported that the Hor UAS consists of:
- UAV with NextVision X80 camera system – 2 pcs;
- UAV with NextVision Raptor camera system – 1 pc;
- Ground station – 1 pc;
- Repair kit – 3 pcs;
- Transportation equipment – 5 cases;
- Catapult – 1 pc.
“Hor is a reconnaissance UAV used to monitor and adjust fire in real time, capable of going up to 40 km into the enemy’s rear,” the foundation said.
It is known from open sources that the Hor drone was developed by the Ukrainian startup Airlogix.
It is designed to reconnoiter and adjust artillery fire.
This domestic UAV can stay in the air for 2-2.5 hours, with a flight range of 150 km, while communication and control of the drone is maintained at a distance of 30-40 km.
Typically, the Hor complex includes three airplane-type drones and a control station. The drones fly at altitudes up to 3500 meters.
The Ukrainian reconnaissance drone has a day and night camera and is fully electrically powered to perform its tasks. These UAVs have been used by the Defense Forces since 2022.
The Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation has also recently handed over a batch of Darts attack drones to the soldiers of the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade “Edelweiss”.
These barrage munitions from a Ukrainian manufacturer move at a speed of 160 km per hour and can be equipped with a 4 kilogram warhead.
