South Korea provided Ukraine with pickups and excavators
South Korea handed over 100 SsangYong Musso pickup trucks and 5 DOOSAN DX17Z mini excavators to support Ukraine.
The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea reported this.
“100 Ssang Yong Musso pickup trucks and 5 DOOSAN DX17Z mini excavators were sent to Ukraine from the port of Incheon,” the report said.
It is noted that the vehicles were shipped as part of humanitarian assistance for Ukraine.
Dmytro Ponomarenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to South Korea, previously reported on Seoul planning to transfer 20 DOOSAN DX17Z mini excavators to Ukraine.
The Republic of Korea will also transfer 450-500 kW power generators to Ukraine.
Prior to this, South Korea provided assistance to Ukraine in the form of protective equipment, as well as MREs for the military.
It is also reported that Ukraine received 5,000 armored plates from Welcron. This assistance was provided by a private company and not through intergovernmental cooperation.
In addition, the media reported on the United States purchasing the 155mm artillery rounds from South Korea.
They are likely to be transferred to Ukraine, and this concerns 100,000 of the projectiles.
