The 92nd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Russian Orlan-10 UAV mobile control post
Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralized the Russian “Orlan-10” drone system during a combat mission.
The mobile control post and other equipment were neutralized by the soldiers of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Ivan Sirko.
Journalist Yuriy Butusov released a video featuring the defeat of the enemy on YouTube.
The footage portrays the position of the Russian system with “Orlan-10” reconnaissance drones.
The enemy situated a mobile control post and other vehicles in the forest strip between the fields.
While one drone was deployed on a launch catapult nearby and was preparing to launch and conduct a reconnaissance mission.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine determined the coordinates of the enemy and attacked his position.
As a result of fire damage, the mobile control post and a number of other units of Russian equipment got caught up in the smoke and burned down.
The results of the successful actions of the soldiers of the 92nd Mechanized Brigade were recorded with a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone, which observed the destruction of the invaders.
The Russian Orlan-10 is a medium-range, multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicle. It is used at distances of up to 120 km from the control point. In autonomous mode, it can fly a distance of 600 km.
Orlan-10’s time in the air – up to 18 hours, flight speed – 90-150 km per hour.
Drone weight is between 14 and 18 kg, of which the payload is 5 kg. It is launched from a special catapult.
