The British servicemen had prepared 84,000 helmets for Ukraine
The British soldiers have taken on the task of sorting and packing 84,000 helmets for their Ukrainian counterparts in just two weeks.
Militarnyi reports about this referencing the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom.
All helmets are already packed and ready to be shipped on April 1.
The helmets had been collected in a major warehouse in Shropshire at the Donnington Military Office.
They had been sent and collected from the military depots across the entire UK.
The processing task for the British servicemen was to remove any British Army straps or identification badges from the helmets.
Sergeant Oliver Church, a platoon sergeant in Company A who is coordinating the field sorting mission, said: “The boys are more than happy to help. I hope we will help our military colleagues in Ukraine by giving them the vital protection they need at the moment.”
