The first batch of 25 Leleka-100 unmanned aerial systems will soon be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Come Back Alive Foundation team shared this on Facebook.

The Ukrainian-made drones were purchased with money donated by the concerned citizens.

The total price of purchase of these 25 Leleka-100 UAVs is UAH 36,000,000.

The Foundation noted that today, air reconnaissance is one of the Ukrainian military’s most important fields of work and development.

It stressed that the “Leleka” UAV is one of the best brigade-level reconnaissance drones.

The drone is able to reach a speed of up to 140 km/h and adjust the fire of the Ukrainian artillery on enemy targets at a range of up to 50 km.

“That is why we purchased 25 Leleka UAVs for the Armed Forces, each costing UAH 1,440,000 and consisting of two aircraft and a ground control station. The Foundation already handed over the first systems to the military, and by the end of summer, we expect a total of 50 aircraft and 25 ground stations to them.

These “Lelekas” will satisfy the drone needs for 25 detachments,” says Andrii Rymaruk, Head of the Foundation’s Military Department.

The Come Back Alive Foundation has signed a production agreement for 25 Leleka-100 systems. These systems will be transferred in the best modification, with a crew training package, spare parts, tools, accessories, consumables, service, and maintenance.

“Leleka-100” was designed to solve the tasks related to air reconnaissance, patrolling, and mapping of the area with the ability to transmit operational information and obtain accurate geographical coordinates in real-time. It was developed by the Ukrainian company DeViRo and adopted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in May 2021.
