The Ukrainian volunteer Come Back Alive Foundation has demonstrated the work of its mobile repair stations in the Kherson region, which were transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The video was shared on the foundation’s social media.

Back in June, the Foundation contracted 6 mobile repair stations with a total cost of 2 million 148 thousand euros.

Stations, each having a truck and a trailer with kungs and equipment, received military units that are subordinate to the Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

These mobile stations are designed for maintenance and repair of NATO model vehicles, in particular, for HMMWV multi-purpose wheeled vehicles.

“31 HMMWVs are the result of a repair unit in one mobile station that we, together with you, transferred to the army less than a month ago,” the foundation’s press service wrote on its social media page.

According to the foundation’s representatives, active hostilities in the Kherson region have created a significant demand for the repair of Western-made equipment, for example, such as army’s HMMWV, which are now actively transferred by the United States as part of military assistance. Currently in the armed forces, HMMWV occupy a numerical and very important niche where they are used as combat vehicles, medical transport, platform for mobile radars, anti-aircraft missile systems, etc.

The charitable foundation notes that this is a complete solution, which helps carry out repair and maintenance of equipment in a matter of hours and in close proximity to the front line.

The mobile station is capable of performing a wide range of tasks such as replacing the engine, gearbox, brake system, cooling or air conditioning systems.

The stations are completely autonomous, they are equipped with a generator, compressor, lighting, a full set of tools, their own warehouse of spare parts and liquids. Due to this, the work of repair units is possible under almost any conditions.

The benefactors note that the military needs 18 more such stations to ensure its minimum maintenance needs for wheeled vehicles near the war zone.

Earlier, Militarnyi reported on the transfer of the first two complexes of mobile workshops from the Come Back Alive Foundation to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
