The Defense Forces of Ukraine are increasingly using foreign equipment and weapons on the battlefield.

Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that the Ukrainian army is using the tanks that were transferred from Poland and the Czech Republic.

The General thanked these countries for their military and technical assistance to the Ukrainian servicemen in the fight against the Russian invaders.

“Thanks to your tanks, we are fighting our common centuries-old enemy. We are fighting for Ukraine, for the Czech Republic, for Poland. For every inch of our Slavic land.”

The servicemen also demonstrated the T-72 tanks received by the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Poland and the Czech Republic.

“We are grateful to the people of Poland and the Czech Republic for their help and support of our army and people who found refuge from Russian bombs and missiles in your countries.

Together we will stand. Your tanks are the help from real brothers,” Valeryi Zaluzhnyi emphasized.

According to the media, it is reported that the Czech Republic has transferred heavy equipment to Ukraine, in particular, DANA self-propelled howitzers, RM-70 multiple rocket launchers, T-72 tanks, and BMPs.

As previously reported, the Czech Republic started supplying Ukraine with defense weapons before the full-scale invasion. A special account has also been set up at the Ukrainian Embassy in Prague to raise money for arms purchases.

At the beginning of June, Andrzej Duda, President of Poland, stated that his country has already transferred weapons worth almost $2 billion to Ukraine. That value includes over 240 tanks and approximately 100 armored personnel carriers.

Poland had also supplied Kyiv with small arms, ammunition, and military equipment.

In addition, AHS Krab self-propelled artillery gun-howitzers, handed over to Ukraine by Poland, are already executing combat missions at the front.
