The Czech Republic announces further military support for Ukraine
The Czech Republic will continue to support Ukraine in the fight against the Russian invaders, supplying weapons and ammunition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
About this Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavský wrote in his column on the solidarity of his country with Ukraine.
According to him, the Czechs and the Czech government have always supported Ukrainians in the struggle for freedom and independence.
“We are proud and will always be proud to become the first country to transfer various types of heavy weapons to Ukraine, and that we are still one of its largest suppliers of weapons,” Jan Lipavský wrote.
The Minister added that the Czech Republic will continue to transfer the necessary weapons to the Ukrainian army.

“We will continue to supply weapons, support and develop Ukraine’s defense capabilities,” wrote Jan Lipavský.
According to the Foreign Minister, representatives of the governments of both countries will meet in Kyiv and discuss how the Czech Republic can further support Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression. Another topic of conversation will be this winter for Ukrainian citizens. Czechs are also thinking about how to help Ukrainians survive the cold season in the conditions of Russian terror.
“We will talk about punishing Russian war crimes, creating a special judicial tribunal to punish the crime of aggression, our support for Ukraine’s accession to the European Union and NATO, and cooperation in protecting freedom and democracy in central and eastern Europe,” said Minister Lipavský.

Also, according to him, many strategic projects have already been prepared in defense and other spheres, such as in the field of protection against enemy propaganda and Russian disinformation.

The Czech Republic approved a new military aid package for Ukraine on October 19. About this on Twitter wrote the Minister of Defense of the country Jana Černochová.
The Head of the Defense Department added that two weeks before that it was about a package of almost 400 million crowns, and on October 19, the Czech Republic agreed on another one for 22 million crowns, it is almost 900 thousand euro.

At the same time, Jana Černochová stressed that she “cannot say specifically” what exactly will be included in this package of military assistance to Kyiv.
