The Donetsk region: 33rd Brigade repelled three Russian assaults

In the Donetsk region, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled three Russian assaults.

The Russian invaders attacked the positions of the 33rd Mechanized Brigade.

The brigade said that the Russians had conducted several assaults with equipment and troops.

The military actively used artillery systems and mortars to repel the attack.

“Russians were shelled with mines and artillery. Our military worked accurately and effectively. Another demilitarization and denazification of Russian troops,” the military said.

Ukrainian reconnaissance drones were constantly monitoring the battlefield and the Russians’ movements.

As previously reported, the 33rd Mechanized Brigade is defending its positions near Pobeda village in the Kurakhove sector.

The Russian invaders have been gathering powerful mechanized assault groups for attacks in this area for a long time.

The Russian command is searching for a weakness in the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces from Heorhiivka to Paraskoviivka.

The soldiers of the 79th Air Assault Brigade also face constant and massive attacks in this sector.

Previously, in the Kurakhove sector, the invaders sent 27 units of armor to assault.

In July, the Russian invaders simultaneously engaged about 200 infantrymen, 11 tanks, 45 armored personnel carriers with troops, and 1 Terminator tank support vehicle in one of the assaults.
