The Israeli Ministry of Defense handed over four armored Mercedes Sprinter ambulances to Ukrainian medics.

Armor protection of vehicles was made by the Israeli company Plasan Re’em.

Plasan Re’em is a subsidiary of the Plasan vehicle manufacturer, which is working with military armored vehicles.

The company also equipped ambulances with the necessary medical equipment.

“A very worthy project that both protects and saves lives where it is very much needed,” Plasan commented on the transfer.

The Ministry of Defense of Israel reports that three bulletproof Mercedes Sprinter ambulances will be dispatched to Ukraine.

The first of four ambulances was already delivered a few weeks ago.

As previously reported, the United States calls on Israel to increase its support for Ukraine in its resistance to the Russian invasion.

Washington is ready to discuss expanding aid with Jerusalem, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said during a joint press conference with Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen.

We appreciate Israel’s humanitarian assistance (for Ukraine – ed.). And we look forward to discussing what more we can do,” Blinken said.

In turn, Cohen confirmed that he plans to visit Kyiv soon. He also announced the renewal of the full operation of the Israeli embassy in the capital of Ukraine in the near future.

Previously, Ron Prosor, Israel’s Ambassador to Germany, stated that his country supports Ukraine in the war started by Russia, but the parties do not advertise their assistance.
